This is an excellent depiction of the buffalo and what their territory used to look like. The technique is super. The colors well chosen. Love the softness of the picture.

I like the content of your painting, and you did a nice job showing depth in it. The shadows under the buffalo are very realistic also. Nice job.

Wow! At first, I thought it is a real picture and I just noticed it is digitally painted. You have a very nice talent. Very well done with those buffalo and the back ground is a very nice touched to it. Well done!

This has the flavor of an old-style landscape painting. It has its own character and doesn't try to look like a photograph. You have captured the essence of what western Canadians call "parkland" - vast expanses of rolling hills with flowery meadows interspersed with mixed woodland. Buffalo are now raised on ranches in such country. Too bad they no longer roam free!

Thank you very much for your very encouraging review.
For all I know a few Buffalo got reintroduced to the wild; but most of them are still in National parks of US and Canada. I have seen the grand herds of Yellowstone which grow into the thousands. My picture is some mix of travel memories from Yellowstone, Custer's State Park, SD and the Great Plains.

such a classic and iconic scene. there are some great names in this competition and funny how the love of the old west bring us all together. it certainly resonated with me and especially reading your notes. the vast expanse is alone worth dreaming about and london, although not as dark as post war berlin is (in places) just as claustrophobic. your picture paints a thousand words (as the old saying goes) and all good ones to.

    Thank you!!!
I think London and Berlin has a lot similarities. At least it use to have the same climate, lots of fog and rain. LOL
