I've been around mangroves for much of my life and never knew that these little fingers were their breathing mechanisms, hmmm always new things to learn. I always refer to them as fish nurseries because they protect the babies from natural predators. Good clear shot of this.

Thanks so much, must admit I had no idea until I read the informative signs along the trail, very educational and as I finished the walk there were around 40 school children about to head off along the trail. :)

Thanks so much, was certainly informative walk and was pleased to see about 40 school children about to head off on trail on my return (mind you was glad it was on my return as it was very peaceful out there on my own) :)

Your composition holds a lot of visual interest with those little vertical projects directing the eye up to that splash of green leaves and that arching branch that frames the top of the photo.. The water is reflecting the light nicely and everything is in focus and makes this a very beautiful piece of art.
