Your #6 of FAR, so your work can't be that bad after reading your whole profile details...I think the face detail of the man is greatly done, and very intricate in details. even the hairs in the beard. The girl is nicely done to, the white ruffles in the lace, loved the way you captured that in detail. wish I could learn how to paint in digital? I'm on the computer for over 20 years, and don't even know where or how to do this kind of work?

Your complement is far too kind but I have to admit that I didn't paint the face of Jesus in this on I added the tears, the face is from one of many cliparts. I softened it to attempt to make it appear more opaque. The rest of the work is mine.
If you'd be interested in trying digital painting I'd recommend downloading a free copy of twisted brush. That's about the only program I use. It has different brushes to use, such as a lace brush to give the effects that one might want. It isn't a 3D program where the objects are preformed, its basically painting on canvas but a bit of cheating with filters , well at times more than a little bit of cheating with filters LOL I couldn't get this same effect on canvas if I wanted to. I still classify myself quite the amateur but I have come a long way.

no its just the way I highlighted the sky, did more of a sweep b rush with it to attempt to blend the rainbow so it wouldn't be so bold.

I do like the framing and pov. Great colours. Seeing that the bright light is from behind, I think her shadow is in the wrong position.

I hadn't even noticed the shadow was wrong until you mentioned it. Thank you deeply for that help. that seems to be one of my downfalls is lighting and perspective, any help an positive critiques like this is extremely helpful

This is a sad picture, makes you wonder why the girl is crying, what has happened to sadden her. However the picture has an element of colour and love, brought about by the rainbow and the lord sharing her grief. A wonderful pic.
