So unlike your usual subject, but the same vibrant colors and movement of the shapes comes through! wonder choice of colors and has a Picasso and Egyptian feel to the composition. Keep working on the figurative !

Pure acrylics. I use them in the style of watercolours. I add many layers once each layer dries. I appreciate your nice review. Thank you so much for your support. Glad you liked it.

Please do more of these. I really like this. Frankly, I think you are not reaching your portential in not posting this (a different kind of work) You have done a great job with this. I, too, am usuing acrylics, but even with the matte medium, I find it very hard to blend colors.
Forgive me if I say, I am tired of looking at landscapes all the time. Use the power and textures to do different subject matter, such as this one.

I think that I have underestimated myself. In future I am going to make a lot of figures and abstracts. I love landscapes and they are popular. hence my going overboard with them! You have really 'opened' my eyes.Thanks million. I will get down to some serious stuff after my return to India. Cheers!

Now this one's quite different: androgynous, could be man or woman but definitely young with a hard edge. Looks a bit like David Bowie in his hey-day. No religious overtones here, unless of the strictly pagan variety. Just humanity, sexy and (s)he knows it!
