Belated thanks for your work--it makes a striking accompaniment to my piece. Trying desperately to catch up on about 90 thank-you reviews, having just recently learned how to toggle between story and art to give you your well-deserved stars. Cheers. LIZ

Well, young man, you have truly outdone yourself on this wonderful work. You have captured Prince, and honored him with your amazing piece. Great masterpiece.

An amazing art drawing capturing Prince, this exceptionally talented musician, performing under a purple rainbow of light. Beautifully detailed purple outfit , great contrast with the white guitar. Artist notes are a wonderful tribute to Prince. Even though he is gone, his legacy of music, much of it yet unheard will keep his memory alive.

LOL. As you know me rather well by this time ( jump to the end of the post to see my name - wink) and you will know that there is certainly Nothing that I can add to what I am sure has already been said. Of course this is a Fabulous image. But we already know that. The part of your narrative is where you give UP but Never Give In as far as FAR (pun intended) is concerned. I will NOT resort to a Real camera and therefore will Never be considered Seriously on here. So Be It. I have come to realize that the Real Essence of Life is actually "non conformity" in so far as we allow "Ourselves" to "Live". LOL...I am sounding like a bad LSD Flashback from the 60's. Anyway...very well done and this should be a "Clue" to the things you were drawn to Draw. Oh well Mark, it is time for Another Rum and Coke ~ Steve

Thanks for the fitting tribute to this icon of the rock scene. The image is bold and shows him as he always lived, strong and virile, yet sensitive. Great purples. RIP.

A marvelous picture of an incredible performer. The strength of his talent is captured in this pose. I can hear that guitar as his fingers, which now play guitar only in celestial concert halls, grace its strings in accompaniment to his unique voice.

in honour of Prince and very appropriate. Hate to say this but have no idea who or what he did- I had a student, 6ft 3ins black boy who was a lodger at my London home, who was called Prince- he was the funniest, came home late once, I said: did you have extra work Prince. No he said, was in the Uni //same Uni as mine UEL// pub and someone was being racist so I had to give them a lesson. He was totally cool. His mum he said, was smaller than me- I am 5ft- but he was terrified of her. I learnt later that West Indian mothers are terrors, shout. wish they shouted to stop their kids thieving and cheating Degree work- I had been all for them, and had written for their cause, as had my dad, but after what the Sheffield lot have done, never again, I fear them-

Outstanding, I to have followed his career from the beginning. Bit I am old. Your notes are great and I agree that things get a bit subjective from time to time but it is their rules. :) Seriously, you have captured Prince perfectly and I would not ever consider this a cartoon. Such a wonderful tribute to King of Purple Rain.

Got the Prince down pretty well, certainly was a Night the Doves Did Cry. Like the spotlight and the glow of the light looking similar to Purple Rain, well done nice picture
