its happened to me too a couple of times. Probably a good idea to mention it. Love the colors of these pretty ones. Focus shows good detail and dof gives nice separation from the background. Keeps the attention on the flowers. Raindrops gives them freshness. top shot.

Thanks Sonja, it is annoying when the upload isn't as good but possibly as I didn't resize prior to upload it impacted. Cheers Mary

Nice work under the conditions you described. I see the rain drops and it looks like it was no sun for this one. Very good color. Sorry to see you loss a ;little sharpness. Did you try any with the fill flash?

Thanks, the original is quite sharp but not sure why I lost it when it loaded onto FAR. Thought it was my eyesight but hubby agreed with me :)

Your so very right about your camera...very nice. Loved the precise quality of your work here, and focus. The lighting is good, and little fibers on the stems are so real and brought to life in this picture. The water droplets produce such a unique image and tell the story of what this is all about...

A beautiful picture of these unusual beautiful & colourful Native Australian flowers. I love the soft natural lighting it adds that extra something that flash kills.Superb camera skills throughout with razor sharp 3D focus.

I like the wet glossy look on the flowers and blurred background. In this case the green works well to. Nicely centred.

This is a very pretty flower. It definitely looks like a member of the pea family, but I have never seen a bloom in these tones before. Very unusual and I would love to know its correct name. You have positioned the subject well in the frame. Focus is very good, showing up spots of rain. Very good focus and nice soft background works well.

Thanks so much, I did find something similar (Chorizema cordatum) on the internet but the leaves didn't seem to be right but was closest I could find. :) Mary

The focus is a little soft in this shot. The water droplets add a little magic to the shot and the colors are lovely. Nice job
