Since I am not a big horror fan, I am glad there are few people venturing out into other areas such as your pure fantasy here. I have not difficulty seeing this as a pumpkin and there is plenty of room for drawing some great stories out of what you have done here. The color schemes are of course very appropriate for a Halloween theme and your results indeed verify the fun that you say you had. A fun piece to look at for me too.

I like the unusual apperance which nevertheless seems to have a loot of the Halloween symbols in some kind of abstraction. The almost heart formed eyes an the mustache of the Jack-o-Lantern or scull have a whimsical humor, I like very much.With a bit imagination one could see bats and ghost, and barren trees. The colors are as excellent as they are symbolic. Best luck for the contest.

What a fun Halloween piece of art work. The over all colors used to just amazing. The eyes have an owl look. But the mouth is people. I like how the face comes out from the dark.
