Wow what a special combination and strong content in a winter moment with such a special white pieces around the house and even on the trees making this presentation outstanding and the blue part of the heaven was a great idea as well, as it lets this picture shine out in a special way - your creation is excellent with a single house in nature and the detail work is fantastic -a really excellent presentation again, xoxo

Excellent work,Cleo!
The 'Cold' vibe seems to radiate right off the image,my friend!
And it makes me think of 'scary cold' nights ( like the one we experienced here in upstate New York last night! )
I can't wait till Spring! Lol!

This is a very cold , winter night scene!
I like the placement of the cabin up on the sloping land and off to the right, it's windows reflect the deep blue sky and the chimney shows that there is a warm fire inside, nice show of the smoke rising up . I like the foggy mist in the air rising up to meet the dark blue and black night sky.
The bare tree on the left is well situated and gives depth to this scene.
Very well created digital painting . We have many cabins located here in Alaska belonging to trappers and people who enjoy the winter sports . Nice work Cleo , you show the white snow perfectly!
This looks like home to me!
Well presented! Awesome entry for this contest! Best wishes to you!

This painting caught my eye and I just had to have a look. It's a beautiful little piece, that stopped me in my tracks, and what more can an artist ask for. Perhaps because it is done using computerization, it come across as naive, but isn't that what some of the Masters strived for? Who was it that said, I wish I could paint like a child. This might appear childlike, but boy oh boy, it's wonderful. Well done you. Regards, Terry.

I like the colors used in the sky. I like the tree and bush in the left hand corner. I do feel something lacking on the right side. The house looks awkward to me. Good luck in your contest.

Thank you very much for your kind review and input. I will think of what to do about the right side. Maybe make the walkway more shown. The house looks awkward? In what a way? Do to my location. I have never seen a winter scenery like this, but are restricted to pictures of other artists and photographers.

I agree a walkway leading from the front of the house leading out to the right side could work for both problems I'm seeing. It can create a visual of depth of the snow explaining why the house looks as if its peeking above a huge drift. Just some thought.

The walkway is there, at my original; but slight covered with snow. I have to check the post, maybe it lost some in the resizing. I had too go down from 4684x3200 pixels [1.8 MB] to 700x478 [0.3 MB]. I may have to increase the coloring at the original and resize anew. Thank you for making me aware.

Interesting notes and elements of creation. Love the royal blue sky and matching windows. Kind of Christmassy. Thanks for sharing your work with us.
