Had to laugh at your dragon lady which i love by the way. The colours are wonderful and i like the way you have swirled the colours to give her a wonderful free flowing hair do. You could be quite correct as some women are dragons. next time I meet one i will think of dragons. Will bring a grin to my face. love her

Really like the texture of this piece except the eyes/eye brows everything in the piece flows well except the eyes i think if the eyes were a little more similar to the whole piece i would enjoy it more then i do but besides that overall good job

Thank you very much, I appreciate your honest review and your input. Sorry that you dislike the picture, but I cannot change those eyes without damaging my story, and the meaning of this picture. The eyes are painted this way in purpose. They are invented to pierce the viewer, make him/her uneasy. They follow the viewer from where ever he/she looks at the picture. Those eyes are painted in order to be very different and in strong contradiction to the pleasant flow of colors. Even in this humorist form, this is not a human being, but a supernatural shape shifter in a fantasy world. The alligator like dragon emerging from her hair is just getting the same eyes. She is in the process of shifting into her dragon form. I hope you understand that I cannot change those eyes, because that change would cause a different meaning.

Good initial impact, excellent presentation.
My eyes moves around the frame taking in different details with each viewing. There is some interest within the main subject, the bird, eyes and dragon. I really like the colours, the eyes and the hairstyle of the main subject
The colours are suited associated with Halloween.

Very creative! I'm especially attracted to the Dragon swirling off the damsels hair on the left side of your picture and the eyes are still visible! I have personally found that achieving that type of continuous sweep with the mouse a very awkward endeavor and I'm particularly curios, if you're willing to share, about how you moved the tools with your fingers.
The hairstyle reminds me of the bouffant styles of the early to mid 60's when I was first married. Very well done and best of luck in the contest!

Thank you very much for tour throughout review. I never learned to paint with the mouse. It is impossible for me to get fine detail. Some people use tablets to draw. I was informed that we could use some of the new I pods/tablets, but I really don't know since I am not living in the US. I use the mouse pad of my laptop. To paint this way needs some praxis and a bit of trickery, some what is not in the books. I usually scratch on paper or directly onto the [digital canvas-]screen/paper; than divide my picture into a raster [9 or 12 squares seems to be a good way]. I work separately on this squares. That technique is not so good to get a flow [as the hair]. In this cases I change the print size of the picture to a smaller format wile leaving the dpi at 400. That allows my to work on a bigger area of the picture with the knife. It works fine for backgrounds, the flow [like the green in left]and mixing colors; but it will not work for the details. For the detail I size the picture back to original. I work in ArtRage. I do not know if those techniques work in other programs.
I hope that will help. I hope I am not to confusing. Ask if I am. English is for me just another self taught language I was never formally educated at. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

You may check ArtRage out on line. It is a relative inexpensive program and I think they do have a free trail for beginners.
