Oh, that is beautiful an very realistic looking. The composition excellent. I like how the scene is framed by the tree on one side and the line of trees in the background is broken by the creek(?). The snowdrift curving to the left corner with the deer right in the middle of it is very sufficient.

Would make a great Christmas card.I do like the framing and content. My only concern is the three clouds at the top left, I think they could be darkened.

I would probably be easier to just blend them in than to darken them. Thank you so much, dodgement. I'll see if I can fix those before I post to the other site. :)shawn

Excellent composition, nice textures, good perspective, nice choice to use the foil overlay. All elements work together well to create the illusion of depth to the scene and winter-like atmosphere.

Your post editing skills are very good! The goldfoil overlay has certainly given it more life and color. I like the different texture from the cloudy sky to the front tree branches. Well done!

I can only imagine how beautiful the actual image is - gold foil and all. From what I can see, it is breathtaking, particularly the detail and lifelike way you captured the tree in front. The soft background and how the deer seem to almost sink into the fluffy snow, are so lovingly done. It makes me feel like the holidays are here. This picture looks a lot better than the Currier and Ives work I've seen. Congrats on a fantastic winter image.
