Saw this pop up on the side of the homepage and thought wow - that sure is a Christmas card shot! What a perfect composition. It can be so challenging to get just the right amount of snow in the right places! Lighting is just perfect - no need for a flash. Love the trees in the background. Great job!

Oh what a lovely sight! What a Christmas card it would make! Just a beautiful capture in every way, from composition to lighting. The background trees almost look like painted scenery! Just grand.

This is a vividly lovely and perfect picture for a Christmas card. I love the gleaming, glowing Christmas tree wrapped in soft, velvety scenic snow.

Very well produced Holiday photography!

What a lovely shot of this lit up tree. Love the lighting here and how you whitened the trees in the background. Great composition and initial impact.

Annie,
A truly beautiful image of this Christmas tree with its light creating "Stars" among it's branches under the blanket of snow & the added bonus of two stars in the sky above. The snow covered bare trees on either side of the Christmas Tree make a perfect backdrop. An artistic composition & framing. Perfecting natural lighting (which I prefer) Superb camera techniques all round & 3D razor sharp focus. I wish I could do likewise but it would be rain & not snow on the tree.

What a beautiful night shot, love your edit, good focus, frame and low light exposure with the white snow. A holiday feel good shot.

An unusual kind of decoration: real snow. It looks fantastic! The addition of the stars is beautiful. I love that you have them in an irregular pattern. They are not only beautiful; they enhance also the original tree lights which shine pink through the snow. An indeed wonderful tree. Best luck for the contest.
