I was very ready to give this one a six star.Not being a trad
itional artist,I "was" doing
body building 15 years ago.This
guy is done well except when you reach the calves of his legs.The
right leg could use a bit more definition but the left leg needs the most work.Halfway down the calf it looks bony.
I like the blue circular background.

Great muscle tone...Good use of shadow and light to emphasize the human form. Love the pose..Blue circular background adds to the subject...it zero's in on the body and all that it is. Nice!

Nice, round composition (Leonardo DiVinci, anyone? ;) - unique and unusual. The cold, swirling blues makes it feel like the scene is spinning round and round, which compliments this gentleman's head-clutch (headache, perhaps? ;) and the rich warm tones of his skin. Really nice figure drawing overall, with lots of movement! :)

Classic pose rendered well in watercolor. I like the fluid motion you achieved in this difficult medium. The blue area encircling the man keeps the viewer in the picture. WOnderfully executed body with good proportions! Jean

the blue brings your warm colors forward bravo some of your anatomy is off butt your off to a great start muscles and bones in a portrait are hard to portray and take a lot of practice you should start with drawing the structure underneath like the skeleton and moving then into muscle structure that can be tricky your upper body looks good your legs need some work keep going
