This is a beautiful photo of the sunset. I really need a better camera too, I'm using one that only has a 5x zoom. I am saving up for one of those cannon cameras. I love the bright sun, so big and clear. The colors of the sky in the background is beautiful as well!

Happy to enjoy this safe distance and be here to say so. Your composition is timely and even warming for these chilly cold winter nights and the gloomy gray days. Have a warm and glowing holiday yourself and remember to accept our gracious thanks for sharing your work with us.

Great sun picture. The clouds in front of the sun make the photo very appealing. Color is also eye catching. Nicely done.

How did you get the sun to look so HUGE! Amazing shot...love the contrast...it literally POPS! I won't be here in 500 million years and I think I'm glad!

many thanks Debby; it is just the 40x zoom of my compact camera

I really like the close up of the sun, it reflects such a bright color, usually hard to capture a good shot. Very nice.

Well I am still here and all the people in my area still exist, so there was no apocolypse here either. that sun looks very hot, I love the clouds floating across, how did you get this shot, do you have a telescope atached to the camera.

A minimalist piece with such great visual impact as your light against dark compositon wotks so well. I can see this piece hanging on a gallery wall blown up to a huge size. What a pleading piece to make one stop and think. Nice work!

Not always easy to get, well seen & taken. Indeed, survived the end of the world this time but shall be watching the sun! Great cloud "bites" and shading.

I like this image but I cannot look at it for long because it gives me a headache! The sun is so bright. I think the large white expanse makes it even more so than if the whole area was yellow. You have to be careful when capturing shots like this - the sun can damage your eyes which I am sure you are aware of. Well captured!
