This picture reminds me of that movie ice age. Look like this tree branch is frozen in time!

this is amazing.. and the background is absolutely perfect to go with the subject. the blues are cold and shivery and enhance the ice on the branch. I am a nature photographs fanatic and am always imploring photographers to give us nature, nature, nature, though I myself am mainly into life forms. This is clever, artistic and pretty wonderful..

To me the detail in the vack ground is distracting. The subject is interesting but the out of focus parts of the image , in this case distract my eye. I hope this was helpful for you

Im sorry , I dont want to be too harsh. But to me when the background is not contained in the frame it draws my eye out of frame.

this has a lot of nice lines in it and the colors are icee. the limb makes a nice alien head. good eye for the creative and good impact to the viewer.
