What a peaceful scene. Beautiful lake and reflection. Makes me want a cold glass of sweet tea! Ha! I like the use of light and shadows on the chairs. Great color and focus. Hope you do well in the contest!

I am inclined to crop out the buildings across the water so I can pretend to be in the wild (that is just me!) I really like the feel of this one, it has an inviting and calmness. Just need a beer....LOL! Donkeyoatey

This is reminiscent of the empty beach chairs we see in paintings, overlooking waves crashing on the beach! This shot has all the cool colors instead of the Key West pallet and has the same lovely charm. I love the blue reflecting in the water and the two (I think) balance the composition perfectly. Love the angle and the ground anchoring the chairs at a slight angle. Very nice! Jean.

You are right - not a typical still life and I probably would not have said it was a still life - but then as I scrolled down to view the photograph I spotted the chairs. Those definitely put the image into Still Life category. Very summery shot which warms me up on a cold winter day. I like your framing and focus is very good too. Lots of greenery but with different textures, shapes and tones, the picture is still very interesting. Good Luck in the contest.
