This really pops red.
Good presentation, center of interest, and very vibrant color as well.
I love the color of the bird, and how the bird is making direct eye contact to the camera. Wonderful story telling!

Fantastic shot of this red bird. Would be interested to know whether you zoomed in on this or did you use a macro lens? Focus is excellent showing up all the detail in the beak, eye and feathers. I like your framing and perspective, showing a more or less profile view. The bird's beak is partly open with a seed between the two parts. The plain green background compliments the red and black colours. Good Luck in the contest.
