This piece is all done using various colored artist markers (ink), each dot is laid down individually by hand, by the artist, this is not a computer generated image in any way, shape or form. This image is 5 x 7 inch piece that took me 8 hours to draw. I am selling singed and numbered limited edition prints of the image, if interested go to the buy icon.

Pointillism is difficult in nature to achieve as is the buffalo difficult in nature. Any attempt to improve the colors or shading would ruin this piece. Great job

To me being able to do pointillism effectively involves a lot of areas of art, to me it is a ability of understanding colors, light, composition and how they work off of one another to create other shades and hues. It is the artist over time developing a deft hand and really well coordinated synchronization movement between what the eye sees, really looking, the how mind interprets those visual sues and then the hand (s) unexciting. It is the ability to create a flow.

Very time consuming but very well done. Nice composition and good use of the 1/3 rule. I don't think I'd have the patience for this, so kudos to you and those who do!
