Love it! I don't know much about mixed media so I won't even venture to comment on that. I just know that this is a feel good photo that I like very much. If I were in a position to purchase more art this would definitely be it!

You did a great job. Perfect angle gives good 3-D detail. Super focus on the binding of the book. I love the framing with a dark background and shiny foreground. The surface adds a great reflective quality.

This has been done many many times before, In fact I judged a similar image a couple of months ago. It should do well in the contest. For me though the composition is to central and front on. Mitch

Thank you! I have not seen it here but I have other places. I had taken different angles but this was my favorite. I appreciate your opinion.

this is only my opinion I think the photo could have been tighter on the bottom so we don't see so much of the book binding but concentrated more on the heart itself...the photo has good focus but my eye seems to go to the bottom the binding more then the heart

A fantastic image. Excellent idea/concept and wonderful implementation. Nice composition and lovely tones, and I like the way you created the heart. I like the effect of the black negative space. Very nice DOF. A masterful piece of work. If I had any "golden" awards remaining this week I would give one of them to you for this image. Excellent photography.
