I think it looks good. I guess I miss out on the many forms of digital art, having been challenged enough by vector art. I would not guess it was digital art. I very much like the feel and the shadows. You are obviously very good at this kind of digital art. My admiration!

You have brilliantly created a very lovely, soft-focused, and colorful combination floral and fruit artwork. I admire how the fruit colors complement/mirror the colors of some of the flowers. Your art also makes an ideal cover for a greeting card.

I would not call that cheating at all Cleo, and your little experiment worked out well. I especially like the color pallet you have used on the fruit and flowers, and the white vase an mug are standing out so well from it.
I especially like the way you have used the light with the fine distinctions between shadows and light. Your brush work is fine, and this turned out to look very much like a water color painting.
The format and framing is working well, and the white items have got a fine placement on the canvas. I think this is a truly lovely and well done digital painting.

I love the pastoral colors of this still life and it's green nature. The oranges are very pleasant and create a nice balance with the soft grays and whites. Nice subtle work of art. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the artist notes. I would say you were successful with those digital paint brushes. I have used digital art a few times to black out the background in a photo, which involves outlining my subject, and it's NOT easy! The colors in this piece are lovely, the shading is good, and the arrangment is excellent. As you have discovered, arranging a still life scene for art or photography is definitely a skill....and not one of mine.

a really lovely rendition and a great use of shades and texture. the fruits and flowers are so nicely coloured and the composition is very balanced. there are so many delicate details and lots of emotion in the drooping leaves.
