It certainly is vivid, especially against those green leaves. You have captured every subtle hue and tone of color. I even like the wee bit of blur on the right. Nice and crisp, and great detail. DonkeyOatey

Very beautiful image Willie. I like the rich green leaves surrounding the flower as well as the bits of small rain drops on the leaf in the foreground.

I agree with you Willie it does have lovely colours both the bloom and the varied greens inn the leaves. It has been let down rather by losing the bottom part of the pink leaf. The image also needs some work,the pink spot of another flower on the right and the tip of a flower bottom left. Mitch

Clematis is one of my favorite plants in the garden, and this one really has pretty blooms. The colors of it are lovely and standing out so well against the green foliage. The only pity with this photo is that too much of the flower is covered by the leaves.
Your focus is spot on showing clear and well defined details in the middle of the flower, and also in the petals. Colors are nice and natural, and the exposure is perfect.
The flower is nicely placed within the frame, and the cropping is neatly done. This is a well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Wonderful Willie how the pinks of that flower really leaps out from the green of the leaves.
The diffused light is perfect for the subject and the detail is fabulous especially on the flower itself.

This has a gorgeous color. I like the framing of it with the green leaves. Good focus and lots of detail in the flower showing. Now we just have to wait for the warmer weather to get some more to bloom.
