It certainly does have an abstract feel, almost like little charges of electricity or sparklers! Very good framing and pinpoint sharp. It is visually interesting and the repeating shapes hold my interest! Great contest entry! Jean

I agree that this could easily be looked at as an abstract, especially for those who has never seen a dandelion up close. I also think this would go well in a macro contest as well though. You have really captured well the silvery shine in the chutes.
Your focus is nice and sharp, and it was worth while laying on your belly. It is some really clear and well defined details to be seen here. I also think the exposure is very good.
It is nice the way the plant is filling the frame, and I like that the focused part is sitting off in the lower right. I think this is a really well taken macro, and I wish you luck with the contest.
