Impact 5 color 5 technique 5 technical 5 lighting 5. Love the colors in this photography would make a fantastic painting. Everything seems to calm the water, the bird and colors all subdued. Very pretty. I can see why you won.

Love this Willie. The soft pastel color scheme is so fitting for such a gentle slow moving creature. And the double eye contact from the subject and reflection are way cool. Clean background empowers the composition too.

I'm glad you didn't crop the photo as you would have lost some of the reflection and the muted back ground reflection. Great picture as always. Your pictures are the sharpest and clear that I've seen.

This is really a beautiful scene and the reflections you have captured are really awesome. It is really a lovely shine in the water, and also the vegetation is nicely reflected giving the colors to it.
The Heron is well focused showing clear and well defined details both in the feathers of the bird, and the log. The exposure is just perfect, and all the colors are nice and natural.
The bird is well placed within the frame, and the framing itself is perfect. Another 6 stars shot in my opinion. Really well done Willie.
