Another beautiful picture of this Great Blue Heron showing off it's long wing span as it prepares to take off from the water it's head turned watching you. The trees on the far bank reflected on the water making a very beautiful & peaceful backdrop for the Heron. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

I think this is my favorite so far! You captured the grandness of that wingspan and wing feathers so nicely. The softness of the background against the sharp detail in the foreground is also very appealing.

Very nice presentation and composition here. The log he is standing on adds a lot to this photo. I like how you caught him with one foot raised up and I can even see waterdroplets falling from it. beautiful coloring throughtout!
