Great composition. Tasteful use of color. Good feel to it. Love the lighting. Very simple but interesting.

Great job, somehow I never thought of you as a mini man. Still amazes me what you can do with a sharpie. Well done you are very talented.

A real shame you did not get to enter, this is well done, and the poive is different from the norm, which makes it stand out! I also like the bit of whimsy in the fellow leaning against the building, having a beer. the light spill from the doorway is really well done, and also eye catching. Donkeyoatey

This is absolutely my dream car which I would like far better than my "Z". So, I am very biased plus you have my favorite color combination of orange and blue! Sorry to see you missed the car contest. THe composition is perfect. I love how your done the light on the building and the street lamp. Just a stellar piece over the top good! Jean

Great detail and shading.
Good color choice with the blues, the white glow of the lamp and orange hues of the car.
Like the person, admiring his car.
A lot of detail, very well done.

I guess I just run out the complement for you and I also run out the six for you. I just like to complement how skillful you are but the idea and creativity count the most. This work has very good lighting and with it, the color is so vibrant. Why did you not enter this for â??Carâ?? contest? Thank you for sharing.

And this would have been an excellent entry, too - far better than my murky little Sharpie entry, lol! Love the perfect balance of warm tones (yellow walls, gold car) with cool tones (blue glass, gray sidewalk and asphalt). Vertical lines in windows/door leaning left as light pole leans right, which is probably an effect of lens distortion from the camera which took the photo from which this was drawn? It does give the whole a "funky" feeling overall though, as well as the afro-haired figure emerging from the doorway on left. In my mind, "the story" of this is a car parked in front of a nightclub, although it's strange and surreal, too, as the lights are obviously on at the same time it looks like the sun is shining on the wall and asphalt and it looks like the bright blue sunlit sky is reflected in those windows. I suppose all that doesn't matter, though, as the focus for the contest is the car alone and everything else is merely window dressing.
