Hello again....exactly two years later I am viewing your artistic works. As I mentioned before, I am looking at every portrait of art of photography then after having completed that I am now concentrating on all the RECOGNIZED work. I am looking at each one and some I stop and make a few comments....which is what I am doing here. Layering...is what I am going to be learning about next. It is just amazes me what creativity you have; what creative thoughts must constantly be working overtime in you in order to create such wonderful pieces of artistic photography.
This photo is one of a kind I'm sure. It is pleasant to look at and sure does let your fantasies go wild with the story telling capabilities it has bestowed upon us. Your layering technique is above perfect....if that is even possible. The colors, contrast, lighting, framing, DOF, POV, SAT and overall composition not to mention your filters and effects and adjustments ARE all equally perfect. But most of all your creative thought process to bring this all to fruition and create such a wonderful piece of artistic photography is truly amazingly spectacular

I remember having fun when I created this. The baby in the photo is my grandson.

I figured this was your grandson...is it Thomas?
reply by the author on 12-May-2015
Yes it is, and now he is 8 years old, so this photo taken quite a few years back.

Wow what an awesome picture, the different contrast of colours and textures bring this photo to life. It makes me want to discover the story within the photo, it speaks to me of a child's discovery of the wonder around them and to reach out and touch and feel.

Gee..drowning babies..LOL! Great picture with not only a magical feel, but a lot of emotion and wonder! I really like the colors, and the way the flowers in the reflected drops are so vivid! Donkeyatey

Thank you very much for the lovely review. Difficult to drown this guy. He has always loved water, and now he is swimming like a fish.

I know what you mean, they can learn very early, and take to water, at least our grandkids all did! Donkeyoatey

Once again you have come up with a very creative idea. It is very well processed. However, I am not sure about this. I am slightly disturbed by the baby dressed in water (which might be entirely my issue). Also, I would have expected his clothes to be wet as the water was absorbed into them. I know that this is a small point but it makes the image look wrong to me. I do, however, love the flowers in the water drops. '5' for the cleverness of the image.

Thank you very much for the lovely review. Since this is an entry for the contest "Not natural anymore", I feel we are allowed a bit artistic freedom. I can also tell you that the baby you are seeing did very well in water, and he could swim properly by the age of 5. He just love being in the water, so for me it doesn't look so strange as it might be for you. A little difficult to make the clothes look wet, but I see your point.

this is one of the coolest pieces I have seen. You have the reflection of that water droplet perfect on your little ones hand. I love that flood filter but can't download it on the program I always use. This is way too cute and if this were my grandson you can guarantee it would be hanging over my fireplace. { even if I did this, which I have no idea how you actually did this one} fantastic!!!

I have to add this one to my favorites list.. way too adorable!
