This is a BRILLIAT picture of Charlie you have captured that look that says I want to rest, unless we are going to do something of REAL INTEREST to ME. Wonderful composition, beautiful lighting superb camera techniques & razor sharp focus.

the loving eyes of a beagle are not to be forgotten. I saved one just this past weekend from drowning in our canal. The topaz makes this just pop and sing. So well done.

Mind of their own Willie but as you mentions very lovable! A lovely shot of the stubborn fellow with the glimmer in his eye telling me he is the boss! Nice sharp clarity with the b.g. suiting the whole scene! Interesting how you incorperated the word forever into the scene! Nice shooting and techs to create a lovely shot of the beagle!

Lovely composition and who can resist a beagle. Even though there is lots going on in the background, the color hues are similar and not distracting. Love the 'forever' in the pillow-how very appropriate. THe Topaz adjustment certainly worked well - it seems to really define everything so perfectly! Great focus on the eye-it says it all! Jean.

They ARE loveable..but we used to call hound two by four dogs..because to get them to listen you had yto use a board (not really) Nice use of topaz, it even brought out the detail in the pillow and table leg well! That eye is simply superbly captured! Donkeyoatey

This is a lovely photo of Charlie, and I like the way he is looking at the photographer with one eye. Even if the background perhaps is a bit busy, it works, and the dog is standing out well because of the fine editing. I like very much the color scheme as well.
The focus is spot on showing clear and well defined details in the fur, and especially the eye is captured well. I also think the exposure is good.
I also think the composition works well, and the dog is well placed within the frame. Well taken photo of this cute dog Willie, and I wish you luck with the contest.
