Thank you so very much! The sky has been very good for photography in the last week or so. I have been shooting a lot of different things. I really liked the results of this too!

This flower for sure stands out against the blue sky, and the adjustments in Topaz has worked wonders for the textures seen in this impressive Lily. The vibrant orange hues are just candy for the eyes, and this is indeed a photo with great initial impact.
The flower is just pin sharp showing clear and well defined details both in the petals and the stamens, and the exposure is perfect.
I think the tight cropping works really well, and the placement of the flower within the frame is perfect. It is just like the stamens are reaching for the sky. A really well taken photo with an excellent DOFF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Thank you so very much! The sky has been wonderful the past week or so. I have been shooting every day to make sure I have plenty when the sky turns grey!
