This is just so lovely. The colors incorporated are just so appelling, but the concept and the shading and also highlighting around the petals of the rose are magnificent. Great work !

A beautiful piece of work and wouldn't dare award anything but top marks. Two comments however. The blob, obviously intended as a dew drop reminds me of pimple and wouldnt the frame have been better in a different color? The effect your frame has given however is unique and great

This is so lovely, really nice drawing and painting. You've done this rose well. Roses are hard for me to do. You have done well. I like the drop on it too. The background is great too. Good luck in the contest.

The stroke is velvety smooth and gentle.
The color is quite realistic but if you add a little shade under the petals' white highlight borders, it would become more 3 dimensional. Try it!
