This is a green bug from another mother. Perfect focus and great detail. He looks hungry and those pincher's look like they are ready to eat. The reflecting light off his back helps give great dimension to the critter. I am waiting for him to walk off the page.

I think this is a cricket. It has a similarity looks of a grasshopper though. Cricket are smaller. Nice shot that he's facing at you. "close encounter" was he trying to be friendly at you? lol..Nice light effect,it lightens him against the green leaf.

That is smart supergold. I got a chuckle out of the title of this. In your face macro shot to jairos. I love this Macro it is very well done. He looks more like he is saying I'm going to eat you alive, then smiling. It amazes me the photo opps. we have in the macro world. :)PD
