Well, missed a lot when I was off doing other things last year! You made a tone of these of amazing images. Mino Yasue creates some amazing work and your thoughtful samurai representation is wonderful for her.

what a very nice tribute to one so talented by another one so talented. I see you gave her the white make up of the beautiful Geisha as well. NIce touch. Mino is just so talented and you show her tackling her art with gusto and creativity. Nicely done MK

Very nice comments and tribute to Yasue. Wild hair and lots of pretty colors around her. I noticed she doesn't really have a body, just a swirl, interesting.. She looks really mad with her white face and swinging blood. Good piece well done.

Thank you for the tribute. I am thrilled and humbled, and very much honored. The composition is quite thrilled as it is humorous and at the same time, inherits Japanese tread fairly well. Thank for portraying me powerful and fearless; I love the strong muscle in my arm. She is exactly like 'young-me' - wink! Do you know Japanese classic ghost has an exactly same foam as you have illustrated here. They have no legs (no need legs as the float around the air) and the dress is also very similar (except color is white and with sleeve). So I am rising like a ghost which I unserstand as this is a spirit of me, and never defeated sprit is the also bushi-do (samurai way). I am still very much Japanese in the core even though I have lived in the western society for many years. I think this is an excellent way to tribute me and thank you again for this.
I was going to wait until next week to review this, but I cannot wait as I seem to have so much to tell at this moment, and you have already started to work on the next artist. So I thought I better do now before the passion of tribute passed away.
I have read every single review of this work and I really enjoy it.
Yasue.

like i said before..guess i was born in the wrong country..lol. about the ghost..well i used to also watch the old japanses horror classics(subtitled of course) to current times and i remember that being mentions of the no legs in many ghost stories. well color and sleeves was really artist choice to balance it out. besides think we r the only one who knows this and shhhh i aint telling that.it would give someone something t bitch about. wink thanks for the honor and excellent review(bowing)
