This is a very nice chalk pastel of Kohi. You have done a beautiful job of capturing him and his detail. The black and white color is nicely captured as well with a fantastic job being done to crate his eyes.

Kohi has been captured for all time and you have rendered him with a softness that is quite beautiful. The hairiness is brilliantly done and his nose and pink tongue are just superb. Great job, best wishes for the contest.

Nice work..The eyes came out well but the black fur could have been darkened a bit to get more clarity..The rest is good

Impressive closeup of a cute dog who passed away leaving bittersweet memories for those who rescued him and loved him unconditionally.
Nice rendition of his eyes, fur and tongue.
He must be a gentle, obedient dog judging from her aura.

What a beautiful tribute to a very fine dog. Bless his heart, I am glad he got rescued and had some good life before he let go. It is a delightful pastel image, and the eyes are so full of life. I love the eyes. You made them look so real. I like the stroke work on the fur. Very nice chalk work. Love the tongue sticking out too. I can't tell but was the left side cropped off? You did a very nice job.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. The pastel pad I used for this is rather narrow so it was a case of leaving one ear or the other off! I know it would have been better if the paper had been wider.
