That's exactly what he looks like he's thinking. With his coloring he almost looks similar to a lion. He certainly has a king's attitude. Standing up on the wall, he looks bigger than he probably really is. Slightly open mouth he has a ferocious look. Good lighting and clarity. Nice composition. Good luck in the contest.

Not seen one of these dogs for a while so perhaps they are not currently in fashion. I always thought they looked a little strange because they have powerful faces and bodies but little short legs! He seems to be growling or pulling a face and showing his teeth! Well captured with good focus and framing. Colours look very natural too.

Beautiful dog and great story line. The Chow is large and in charge. The focus is great and the lighting really pops his coat. The dog's fur appears so thick and soft that I feel like I could reach into scene and pet him. The background is rich and gives good DOF so the dog can be the star of this shot.
