What story this picture tells. I am glad he was there for you and now me too. I love the colours and the light play on the water especially. Good balance, great harmony. I am not any good a critiquing but I know what I like! This is really very nice.

Nice tonally rich fishing scenic! I love the reflective beauty rippling across the water's surface, the lovely lighting as well as all the textured character, colors and light to dark contrasting.

It is quite a character you have pictured here. For sure a real son of the Nature with a good tan and a beard. You have captured the atmosphere of a lazy summer's day really well with this shot. I like the green hues in this photo, and the reflections are captured so well.
This is also a nice and sharp shot showing clear and well defined details both in the boat and the surroundings. I also think the exposure is good, and like the way the light is falling on the trees in the background.
The cropping is neatly done and the boat well placed within the frame. This is a well taken photo Willie, and with an excellent DOFF. I wish you luck with the contest.

Thank you so very much! I love your honesty! I am thinking about printing this 18x24 framing it and entering it in a photo contest sponsored by our photography club. Do you think it is good enough for that? I also have a sunflower shot from the back side. I am thinking about doing it and I am not sure which to use. Would you please look and see which you like the best?

I for sure will Willie, and then tell you which one I think is best. I think this one is more good enough for a contest, but still will have a look at the sunflower.

I don't think I have Topaz - I've seen several refer to it. I'm going to have to check it out. I like that you did not go crazy with it and consequently your image still looks like a quality photo whereas I've seen some that suddenly resemble a painting. Quality
