Great picture Bird Man! Thank you for the laugh. I'm dealing with insurance companies today and needed a nice chuckle. Great detail in the face and ears. I really like the fact you brilliantly picked up the red/orange in the ears. Poor thing may need to see a dentist! Again, I really like this one and you have presented it wonderfully within the frame. If you listen carefully, you will hear me applauding you. :-)

Thank you so much for the review and high score! The thing that is really funny is my son had sheep and was having to give them vegetate oil because they had eaten poison weeds. My wife had the syringe with oil in it and when the donkey came up to her she offered it to him. This was the expression after she squirt some in his mouth. I could hardly shoot from laughing so hard.

These guys can look pretty hilarious. Thanks for the chance to take a detailed look at those clamped shut nostrils and nose wrinkles as he bares his teeth and gums in that goofy expression. Looks like he wanted to send a message that day!

This almost looks like the photo Donkeyoatey is using on his profile page. This for sure brought a big smile to my face, but I am sure that Donkey could need a good tooth brushing. Why is it that the Donkeys I have net on my way hasn't smiled to me like this ? LOL
I think you have a perfect background as well with the green colors, and when nicely softened like this, the animal is standing out in the most excellent way. Your focus is sharp showing clear and well defined details, and the exposure is just perfect.
I also think this is a well composed photo with the Donkey nicely off to the right. THis is really a well taken photo Willie, and I wish you luck with the contest.
