Mark,
I'm pushing it tonight with the computer. The lights are doing a job on my eyes, but this is adorable. I see some errors in your author's notes. If you want help, just say the word! :P

This is a wonderful tribute to him. I love the monkey.
All those stickers on his luggage with a camera. Great job. I had to jump back into his portfolio to find the title of my favorite pieces of his;
1. Framing the Castle
2. Paris Flooding at Night
3. This is my last warning
I am so loving this.
Keep them coming. Thanks for something fun.

Haha amazing. I had no idea you had done this some 4 years ago, way before my time as a 'FARtist' as you put it so well, and did one as a jokey/fungal collage tribute to the very same, which I really hope you don't think I plageurised any ideas from you for! This piece is excellent and a fun and sarcastic cartoon, encapsulating the essence of the travelling photographer very well. I'm not sure how much he'd agree with the likeness, but then again mine was a badly edited bit of fungus so it's good to know it's all in the name of fun (I hope!). Good detail & proportion, the colours contrast well and the context spot on - great detail, humour and fun - great to see and top work :)

Great tribute to Supergold. I agree his photos are always so clear and you do seem to be looking through a travel magazine.
Beautiful drawing as always and excellent cartoon. Sorry no 6 left. Suzanne

You forget to include the most exotic destination which he holds fondest memories of my country until this time--the Philippines!
Simplistic approach but amusing rendition of Fred's travelogue.
The subject just stands out against a plain white backdrop.
Thanks for sharing.

I agree every posting seems to be from another part of the world. No grass grows under his feet. I too am enjoying globe hopping through his pictures. I image your image is about right. A little pouch for his clothes and a big case for his camera. What have you named your monkey friend?
