You have capture the rider and horse as they were just rounding the barrel with great skill. The angle and perspective is amazing. It is a very difficult event to run. I did this in my younger days and was not too bad at accomplishing the event. This is nicely done pen and ink drawing. Marvelous Job. Thanks for sharing.

thank you for your great comments, my daughter used to do the key race as a teenager. she loves to ride and is really good at it. Is it not amazing what they can do with their bodies, you'd think they (both rider and horse) would fall over, and yet they don't.

This method truly amazes me. The entire picture is really detailed except for the riders face. It seems to lack definition around the eyes to me. Other than that it is fantastic

Pixie, when you draw in stipple, the little dots, sometime make it hard, no near impossible to get more details when working this small, again thank you for the time and review... have a great day and cheers... LvO

Wow I almost fell off my self , you created great movement and composition, if anything I would have liked to have seen is a little something in the far back ground to give perspective, would have made people viewing it , run out of the way of the horse nice workmanship especially the horse Aloha

earlmac, thought that would have cluttered it up to much, wanted to capture the rider and the horse and the angles and perspective in just rounding the barrel... really amazing to see them doing this event in real life... anyway, thanks and have a great day... cheers... LvO

This is a lovely piece with a great sense of movement. The horse and rider are perfect as well as I can tell and the barrel even looks as if it has a few dents in it.
