Fabulous use of colour here Cleo - I just love the vibrancy of the green, a great shade indicative of nature. I see a little sprite with a cheeky, mishievious face and a phoenix rising up to herald the new life of Spring.

as the old lady walks thru the enchanted forest of her mind she looks back on her memories when she was a young lady,,,her goals were set high and after many trials and tribulations down somewhat darkened roads she finally came to a place of contentment and joy,,,with a great appreciation for the beautiful times she lived thru,,,,,great creative ability shown and expressed in a timeless fashion and presented likewise,,,thanks for sharing,,,how green were the woods how beautiful was the sunshine and how gracefully the birds did sing,,,,

It is true what you say about children. I had a Tiger living in my garden for a long time, or so I was told by my grandson. I like especially the use of the complimentary colors green and red in this creation where the drop of yellow is leading us straight to the girl's face underneath.

Even being faint I can see that the face is done with good attention to details and with very expressive eyes. I also like the textures you have added to the green back drop showing elegant swirls and shapes. The red fantasy bird is balancing the face in a very lovely way.

I think this is an intriguing and creative creation which is tickling our senses, and I wish you luck with the contest.
