Doubt I would have realised this was an ornament had you not said so. Looks real enough to me. I like the bluish tints in the background/foreground plus what looks like streaks of light. But could be fabric with creases - not sure. You have provided space to the right hand side of the frame where the creature is looking towards. I would just crop a small part of that out that which would balance the shot better and also make the subject appear slightly larger.
