Wonderful to see a natural photo by you again. You are so good at it and have a great eye for composition which I greatly appreciate. I love the DOF of this shot as well as the pathway leading the viewer into the shot and true framing that super burnt out tree. I agree that the tree has loads of character even burnt out. Great job.

This is a beautiful shot. I love the contrast between the lush green trees on the left, and the burnt skeleton trees on the right. It is amazing that the pinecones were able to hold on. Great impact and detail. The lighting is perfect, and the colors are so bright and vivid. You're focus is very crisp and sharp. Fantastic work!!! Thanks for sharing!!!

I guess fires do some good in the long run. A net sooc shot, the roadway leads the eye, good silhouetted burnt trees and cones, focused with a nice sunny day exposure.
Good work.

You are so right it is very nice to see also your photographs that always have something special to show like this one too - you are right this is a nice place and a perfect position to show kind like before and after in one single image - burned parts and fresh parts creating a special pattern. - Nice view on the ocean - a neat general landscape and nature shot, genuine in composition and presentation, thanks for sharing

I have walked though a couple of burn areas while hiking over the years. One was kinda scary because the clouds dropped down so that I was walking in them and you could hear a pen down. It was so quiet. Another time, with the brush all burnt up, we could see all the rock formations and that was pretty cool and beautiful. Also, did you know that some pine trees will not release their seeds from there cones unless the temp outside of them reach a certain temp. So forest fires come in handy for them.
Thanks for bring back some memories in my tried old brain.

Lovely natural shot. Great vista giving a peek at the ocean fro this secluded looking pathway. Very good lighting -- beautiful shadows and texture in all the elements of this image.
