Excellent! What a great conversion to black and white and stunning composition of this wolf, excellent focus giving really nice detail in his eyes and fur, superb shading and DOF. Excellent camera and editing, well done and good luck!

Sometimes black and white provides the bower with the best colour (as it stimulates the Brian to fill in the missing information). This only works when it is done well. This is a fine example of an excellent image. It is beautifully composed with stunning detail. I think this could be another winner.

This is an excellent entry. This wolf looks great in b/w. I love the off-center of the wolf and his expression. Do I run or freeze?

I love wolves...wish I had a 6 to give...as calm as this animal appears to be, there is a storm brewing within...the foliage compliments the subject well...a great photo indeed

Excellent photo for this contest Annie. Great shot of this wolf standing there for you to photograph. We have them back in our area now, not sure why as they are killing off all the deer and elk! A big movement to bring back the wolf in the Northwest of the US. Excellent black and white and a photo that is hard to get as these guys are pretty elusive. Nice one.

This one actually does suit the black and white presentation. I always thought wolves were rather menacing but this guy looks rather thoughtful and has a sadness about him. Good focus and composition.
