This is far more then even 6 100stars for composition, the ability to create her specific energy and handsome enlightenment in her face , radiant Maria Teresa - an example for the World , your light application is illumination pure, the pencil technique is fantastic and just using the blue for her created simple head cover is fantastic - great detail work on her face expression , and hands, they are all alive and just by looking at this image the world becomes better . Thanks for sharing, excellent job

Thank you for your fine review. I appreciate your observations and comments. I'm happy you like it.The blue border of her dress was her trade mark.Hence I did only that in colour!

The blue border was her trade mark. Hence my selective colouring! Thank you very much for your time, review and rating. I greatly appreciate it
Comment from Paul Featherstone

I quite like your picture of Mother Teresa as she looks so gritty and weather worn after so many years of doing good to the world. Maybe at some point you will finish the picture by giving the rest of the image more colour. Thank you for sharing. Paul.

Nicely done. I knew immediately who it was. I might have kept the blue out, but it does give her a certain spiritual sense. Detail is excellent.

The blue is her trade mark border of her dress. Even without a face, the blue border will tell who is wearing it. Thank you for taking your time to rate and comment on my painting. I do appreciate it

Great pencil work--you did a great likeness of her..Love her eyes..the monochrome approach works really well - though the coloured the headband gives her away.Excellent technique..you are a super artist.

Wonderful! You have captured the essence of her personality here in the facial features. The detail is superb and that splash of blue really adds impact too.

I love this woman for all she did and I love your portrayal of her.The years of help she gave is shown in her face but never retracts from her beauty which I see as the light that you created above her and that encircles her head. This is one of your best sesha.I gave you a six star because you chose her and for the remarkable portrait you did.
Bravo,my friend~

The beatification of Mother Teresa was conducted Oct. 19, 2003 by Pope John Paul II. Many believe Blessed Mother Teresa will be named a saint of the Catholic Church someday, and her beatification is the latest step in that path to sainthood.
