Mary good deep b/g for this excellent coloured Dahlia to stand against. good lighting picking up the soft colour of the flower and the detail grabs every petal. Like that the shot is not straight on and fills the area well

Mary, the texture of this is phenomenal, I can touch it and feel it. Wish you had put up more information in your artist's notes so we all can learn from you.

All is well but try to have balance in your negative space for symmetrical comfortable viewing. See how much space you have at the bottom versus the top and the discrepancy on the left versus the right....that's all, all else is perfect.
