Fine clarity on both and really great POV which tells the story.
You did well on the background and you did EXCELLENT on her eyes! That is how it is done!
My only suggestion is to de- saturate orange a tad.
Our cameras over saturate colors. I de- saturate to get the true color.
Do that in Lightroom.

Another 6* image , your position is excellent letting just the lion's face come in behind his wife - your scene is outstanding , nobody would have chosen this angle - fantastic frame, - perfect camera technique , your contrast and lighting are perfect and your modifications gave it the last artistic touch of perfection, super job

Although this is a photo of a lion sleeping..the power is in the lioness! Amazing powerful expression on her face.. the colors are dynamic in her head .. I cannot get over the eyes! You captured her very essence perfectly. As I say to my girlfriend.. tell me again why we need guys around.. she seems to be saying the same thing.. LOL
