I definitely like the idea behind this but its execution unfortunately falls flat. Placing your subjects at an angle will forever be more flattering than displaying objects as you have here. Angles help create the illusion of 3-D on a 2 dimensional surface and that is what photography is, right. The illusion of a life-like image on a flat surface. Keep practicing!

This is very nicely done. I like it when photographers step outside of the box with their still lifes instead of fruit, fruit and flowers and flowers, lol. Very nicely staged and shot!! Best of luck in the contest!
