The color of this dahlia is lovely, they are such a joy to photograph. Your focus is a bit softer than I prefer and as to the composition. Flowers are like any other subject, you shouldn't just plop them into the center of your frame, even though you may typically shoot them that way. So the choices are to crop it as an offset, leaving a little more space to one side than the other, or to photograph it from an angle or to crop it in a full frame manner which basically means the petals touch a portion of the edge all the way around.

The light is hitting this very nicely. Focus and clarity are nice. A different angle might have been nice.
