Yes, this one looks like a Winner. Sometimes, the result of the contest is very surprising. I was surprised myself about that result, as I was always anticipating your name at the top. Anyway, love the prominence of fine details of the central art and the crisp petals. Good depth of focus and absolutely, presented artistically. High five on creativity and technical skills. Well captured and well done on the modifications and additions.

I do LOVE this one better due to the background. Love the soft layers in the background with the lovely eyes and the ribbon like lines and what looks like a ladies fan.
Your flower is sharp and oh so pretty in pink.
I am constantly impressed with the way you have mastered layers, pain brushes and whatever else those magical hands create on your work.

Looks like a love letter. A young lady send it long time ago,but her eyes look through the times. Now the letter is kept with its cover. A heirloom; memory of never ending love. Just one story to it, but their could be many.
It would make a perfect love;letter even to day, It makes surely a perfect greeting cart.

Once again I find myself marvelling at your wonderful backgrounds above all else. Of course the flower itself is perfectly taken with such wonderful colour, clarity and use of light. The placement of the flower is perfect allowing the viewer's eye to wander onto those amazing background elements. Excellent as always.

Well, this one is beautiful too, Annie.. and I only got 1 which never surprises me;) I love the different shades of pink on this flower and the sharpness and clarity of the pedals are excellent! I like your background but truly the flower is what catches my eye;) All done with terrific camera skills and editing:) Thank you for sharing it even if you didn't use it in the contest.. The layers of filters and patterns are very creatively applied. The single element I find totally captivating is the eye. She appears to be peeking around the next layer to see the beautiful flower.
