I too had a dog like this that we were given as a pup after my brother was born. His name was Smokey. He was trained to protect the family. Smokey was trained to alert the family of fire. We had fire drills. Each of us pretended to sleep in our beds, if we did not awake from his barking, he would grab our arms and gently drag us out of bed.
Such a smart and handsome dog.
Love the pose, the eye clarity and the dark vignette allowing King His royal spot light.
