Great initial impact - the center group of "special" animals are fantastic in composition and the way the express their feelings, happiness and joy is creating the perfect welcome essence to attract the kinds - the book they come out is fantastic and the purple square excellent as underlying base - your adviser is well places also
The points I would maybe do different as author and artist too - the outer layer of strong yellow with all the color dots is stronger in attraction as the animals are, it takes the essence of the center away as well as the red strong title - I might let the back ground uniform as when I think AS a little child I would have trouble to focus on the main subject as there is too much going on. With a little more calm in the border that animals just jump on your like they deserve it, xoxxo, hope I could be helpful, the design is fantastic

Thank you so much Regina, I completely agree and have decided to redo the cover but this time painting the characters with ink based pencils rather than coloured pencils and muting the background. Bit of a pain doing it again but like you I think the characters need to pop more. Thank you so much for the constructive criticism, much appreciated

Just me really. love the little guys jumping up, kind of makes me think of ta da! :) really well done! great to see. Thank you so much, I am redoing this now as I think the background and text is too bold for the characters. So back to the drawing board. I am so pleased the concept has gone down well though

Thank you so much, oh I am soldiering on, haven't given up yet he he. I'm only on c though ;) Going to start contacting publishers in a fortnight. Just need to do final tweaks to the manuscript and repaint this cover

Thank you so much. How was Vegas? Yep they are all in the book, nearly completed the manuscript now, just need to put it all down on paper....wish me luck!

so very cool. the facial expressions is awsome. the blend of color is excellent. the detail is great. the shading is excellent. nicely balanced and very eye pleasing to the viewer. very creative and excellent work overall(standing and clapping)
