Best of luck in the contest. This is an awesome photo. It captures the best of sitting by the water, gulls flying, boat in the distance, feet in the sand. Perfect!! Nicely composed!

Love the Back end view of this beach dude! Nice job exposure and fine stop action on both birds and the sailboat.
I live in Summer all year round and it just makes me happy.
Sunny beach days or wetland days everyday!
Love the view and I like seeing photos from your time spent away.

It certainly does give a relaxed feeling and the colour contributes to that. Lighting is great. Superb focus and DOF. Great composition and framing. The red hat adds a touch of humour. Great image. Good job.

This is so ideal. The composition is superb, love the sight of the sailboat, the sea gulls, the pristine water and its tiny tides, the white sand, and of course the vacationer. Excellent natural lighting and colors. clarity of textures of the sand and the ripples of the water. Well captured and is a pleasant sight.

this is the quintessential capture of summer emanating the beauty and essence of summer fun in the sun...nice boats in the distance...nice inclusion of the seagulls in the frame...I wish I was sitting on a beach right about now...well done and thanks for posting
