I think I see what you're doing here. Silhouettes against the blue bkg. Very interesting. The problem as I see it is the major point of interest, the flower spike, is upstaged by too much other stuff. Isolating it would be ideal, but sometimes we have to take what we can get.

Hiya, this is such an aussie scene, with the grass tree and the eucalypts around it. Is this anywhere near where you live? I just wonder whether you could get down low enough to isolate it from the surrounding trees, so that all you could see as a silhouette is the grass tree itself, just a thought. :-)

Thanks Kim, yes have taken some close up of it alone but liked the way this one was framed and lighting created silhoette.
